Aspyr has officially revealed Shrek 2 Remastered, a modernized version of the classic licensed title, alongside a reveal trailer that parodies GTA 6. The game is scheduled to arrive in November 2026, placing its release less than a month from the announcement date, according to IGN.
According to Polygon, the remaster will feature 4K visuals, updated graphics, and online co-op, bringing meaningful technical upgrades to the original game.
The GTA 6-inspired trailer drew attention on its own, positioning the release as a tongue-in-cheek entry in the remaster space. No additional pricing or platform details were provided in the available sources.
